The 8mm solid ball is threaded through the open paddle which is finished on both sides. The chain is free to slide through the paddle so you can adjust the length of the ball drop. The chain includes a 1" extender and a ring 3" from the end where the lobster clasp can be fastened. So the necklace can be worn from 18" to 21".
